Aurora Rising Book Three
What does it mean to be human? What if the price of saving humanity is giving up your own?
The year is 2322, and we stand upon the precipice of extinction.
The invading Metigen armada has decimated the eastern third of settled space in a matter of days, leaving tens of millions dead. Determined to save the heart of human civilization, Earth and Seneca at last put aside their differences to face the threat together. But even this may not be enough to stop the fleet of colossal dreadnoughts inhabited by advanced AIs.
Alex Solovy and Caleb Marano hold the key to defeating the invaders, for they know the secrets the aliens wage war to protect. Now they face a deadly gauntlet of relentless alien hunters and assassins sent to kill them before they can unleash a potent new weapon. They will risk everything in a bid to save their families, their loved ones, the entire human race—even if it means they can’t save each other.
The lines blur between man and machine, ally and enemy, and soldier and civilian. In a final stand against an ancient, powerful foe intent on eradicating it from the universe, humanity comes face to face with its destiny.
When faced with its greatest challenge, will humanity rise to triumph
or fall to ruin?
Aurora Rising is an epic tale of galaxy-spanning adventure, of the thrill of discovery and the unquenchable desire to reach ever farther into the unknown. It's a tale of humanity at its best and worst, of love and loss, of fear and heroism. It's the story of a woman who sought the stars and found more than anyone imagined possible.

Praise for Transcendence
Great read! For those who love science fiction painted with a broad brush, strong plot lines and well developed characters this is a great read and an excellent closure for the trilogy. Transcendence brings together virtually all of the plot lines from the two previous books and - (hope I'm right here) - segways into futher adventures of Alexis and Caleb. In particular, I enjoyed the great dialog, strong female characters, and the male characters who possesed both intelligence and strength, Jennsen adroitly handles combat with nearly invincible aliens, very human relationship issues, the limitations of human intelligence, control of nearly human artificial intelligence, and the importance of individual actions in a complex and diverse society under great stress from both within and without. I read though it in two days and am now rereading it more carefully - and enjoying as much as my first read. Hope you enjoy this trilogy as much as I did.
Aurora has risen - and it's spectacular. Transcendence does an excellent job of bringing all of the story arcs together in a suspenseful and intriguing way. Best of all, the very last page leaves you wanting to yell "ah, man!" as it hits home that this is just the beginning of the adventure, and now you have to wait to see where it goes next. Jennsen has definitely proven herself to be an author worth paying a lot of attention to.
WOW terrific space opera!! Each book just keeps getting better and better. Plots are extremely well developed and the insight she provides into the lives and thoughts of characters is amazing. After a while I felt like I was in the book watching everything as it happened. I can hardly wait to see what she comes up with next. Follow this author and purchase her books. You will not be disappointed!!
Exceptional. Transcendence is another masterpiece of exceptional writing. I am in awe of the authors talent for painting a galaxy-spanning adventure of such magnitude. The visual images leap out from the pages and will stay with me forever.
Most Excellent. Every now and then a brilliant new author comes along to move the leading edge of speculative sci-fi along in dramatic and stimulating ways, via the space opera multi-novel method. That person has arrived. Love the hot romance at the core, combined with the thought experiment of merging human consciousness with new and powerful artificial life. Ray Kurzweil says we are on the cusp of graduating to post-human life; we need authors like Jennsen to take us into the discussion through the use of dramatic story.
A memorable trilogy by a very skillful author. This is one of the best SF series that I have read for some years. With a strong, gripping story-line and a cast of very engaging characters, GS deftly handles abstruse topics including evolution of artificial intelligences and their interface with humans. Set in a Multiverse where the future of humanity is threatened by aliens from another universe, this is the story of the battle between the aliens and the human forces led by Alex Solovy and her friends, both human and AI. Impossible to put down once started, this series is finely crafted and very thought provoking. Highly recommended.
A new trilogy that everyone should read from an excellent new author! I thought this book and the whole trilogy were the best books I’ve read in a while. I actually read the first book about 2 weeks ago on a Monday and I liked it so much I called off of work and read the whole second book by Wednesday of the same week! The characterizations were top notch and I feel like after three books you know the characters so well that you could read quite a bit about their adventures and feel like you are there! Overall, I was extremely happy with the authors writing style and that is what will keep me coming back for any more books that she may write. Hopefully about the characters in Aurora Rising!!
The perfect finish to a wonderful trilogy. Absolutely brilliant. There is intrigue, action and romance. What I love about the previous books are the characters and they grow so much more in this one. There is an intensity to this book that really puts us among them, feeling what they feel. It's a roller coaster thrill ride that at times will leave you breathless with its speed. And yet everything is tied up nicely, I wasn't left feeling like I'd missed something or there were loose ends. I'm sorry to see this trilogy end but the way is open for more so here's hoping we get it. This is one of those collections that will be read over and over because it is just that good.
